I have just talked to Rustom (9820806355) and Keith who were instrumental in coming up with the initiative "Batti Bandh". I told them about our group and also expressed our desire to replicate the same in our city. They were more than happy to help us. Rustom even said that we are the the first group to have broached them for a similar initiative in another city. As per them, 1. We will be provided with outside support for sponsorship, Website (something like hydunplug.org), banners, material, brochures to conduct this event on a big scale. 2. Atleast two of us need to go to Mumbai to discuss the modalities. 3. They will ensure all the problem isssues they were and are facing in organising this event are ironed out when this is replicated in Hyderabad. 4. This event, as per them, should be organised in late January in Hyderabad. Now isn't this wonderful!
