Thank you, Lakshmi garu, for your introduction.

Friends,

It was indeed a very good conversation, to know about the activities
of RASS and how we can co-operate, work together.

RASS has been working for the past two decades and they gained the
confidence of the govt. They got place in Nellore Collectorate.
Their main area of interest is children and any issue related to
child they take up. They have been working in the tsunami hit
villages of Nellore Dt. They started tutorial classes to the
children in few villages. They trained the unemployed educated youth
on how to teach children and they have been doing it with the
support of Save A Child Programme sponsored by UK. UK will take back
its support after a year. Now RASS is concerned about the sustenance
of the program.

Before Ms. Lakshmi told about these activities, when she asked me on
how we can work together, I opined the same. As they are the field
volunteers, if they can prepare project reports and share with us,
we can publish on our Web site and try to get support from other
sources. If govt. can help, we can (the collaboration of different
groups) can help with the remaining fund.

I also told her that immediately we cannot raise funds. But we can
help in publicizing the reports and all the efforts.

Pavan went to his hometown for festival. As he would be there, I
will ask him to talk to Lakshmi garu and also meet if possible.

Special thanks to Perugu Ramakrishna garu. His support is
invaluable. Whenever he gets an opportunity, he introduces our group
and he has been co-ordinating every activity that we take up in
Nellore.

Thank you.

with regards,
Prasanthi.
