Hi all, This is a case about a aplastic anemia patient.
Plastice Anemia : Condition where bone marrow fails to produce blood cells. About the case : Swapna's mother is undergoing treatment for aplastic anemia. The monthly expenditure for allopathic medicines only is nearly 16k. She is also using Ayurvedic medicines which is costing somewhere near 3k. She has to get blood transfusion once a month which nearly takes 2-3k based on the number of units of blood. Swapna works as a software engineer. The sad story of hers didn't stop here. Her father met with an accident, 2 yrs back, and is now at home. He had two surgeries with the brain... His medicines cost is around 2k per month. Her younger brother is in B.Tech final year now. So she has to take care of his studies too.. What does she expect out of us? She had to take loans for her father's hospitalization. So, part of money is gone for loans. With all the responsibilities only on her.. she is finding it a bit difficult to manage everything. She wants us to support her partially. here I would stress partially because.. she is not expecting complete expenditure but want us to help her atleast with some financial support. I interacted with her.. My observations: She is a strong lady admist the problems. She is slowly breaking from inside and hence asked us to help. I am in for this case.
