ok, if the platform is good then we can migrate to forums. that will be useful.
simple advantage we get from forums is that i feel is that, it provides website + email functionality. we get mails only for the threads we subscribed. isnt it cool? and its easy to track each thread and its progress (ofcourse gmail too helps to some extent i.e as long as subject of the mail doesnt change). I havent checked the forum that is created by prashanti, but hope it helps. also i share the similar thought as Arun.
