Hai All I am very sorry/Happy to inform that this locality/Area was already being served by another organisation.
Its good news that they r provoding the children with bags, shoes, books, and uniform too...To all the 150 children(kids say its only 100 who are regular to school)..May be in the organisations' account books they note it as 150 students. Not commenting..Just a guess... So now 2 things to be done... 1. Meet Mr. Jon BosCo(PosCo) who is working on this project and try to get more info abt this. Take his help/guidance or work along with him. I think he has support frm NGOs or some foundations like AID and CRY, else he cannot do it in such a huge manner. 2. Search for some other locality. But am happy that, 1) 4 of my colleagues joined with me and many more r interested in kids and their schooling/books etc. 2) We spoke to kids there in that locality and 100 of 150 kids in that area are regular to school. Most of them goto a school nearby. But one kid whom we spoke, was attending a school 6 kms frm there by bus and is Class first it seems (claps) . She is very active and she is the one who gav us all teh info. 3) Jon bosco appointed a 12th class student to take tuition for all these 100 kids in the evenings. So its useful financially for this 12th girl and also to the kids. This tuition teacher told us abt jon and his organisation.May be some missionary support also there. Again my guess. So again chennai plan at Zero starting position :((( Am going home today...On tuesday will meet jon bosco and update the grp....
