One of my sister's friends is facing a problem
regarding her degree certificate. Her name is Surya Teja. She has completed her
BTech from JNTU and applied for her original degree certificate. Initially when
the university people issued the certificate, there was a basic mistake of
change in gender (printed as Male). So, she has re applied for her certificate
intimating about the mistake to the university. Later, due to the negligence of
postal servies, she couldn't receive her certificate yet. She is facing lot of
trouble when she is applying for her job. She approached Eenadu
and DC people for getting a right justice. The news appeared in DC few months
ago and I saw the same news in Eenadu district edition today. Though she didn't
do any mistake, university people are insisting her to get a police complaint
copy and pay RS 5000 to get her certificate. Why should she pay to University
for not committing any mistake? Why should she complain to police with a wrong
statement like she has lost her certificate some where? Here is the link to
