I was shocked to even see the subject line, but am ashamed to be a
part of the reason. For starters, I am still in Hyderabad due to some
pending processing with my visa. I was supposed to leave on Sep. 3
(and thus was not planning on attending the meeting here). However,
following my visa interview on Aug. 28, I was in a state of confusion.

<Ranting some personal crap - skip if you're not interested to know>
Though it's not my intention to bother people with my personal issues,
the thing is that decision on my visa application is held for further
administrative processing under Section 221(g) of the US Immigration &
...something (!) Act. This is generally the case with researchers -
Ph.D. students and Research Associates. (For some background, a part
of my Ph.D. project could be to study some data from the infamous "Big
Bang Experiment" of yesterday, or similar data from another such
experiment done in Chicago. I might even be involved in the
experiment.) Owing to the sensitive nature of the issue, my
application is pending processing; I'd be here until December at the
least, since the deadline to register for the current academic term at
my university has passed just today.
</End of rant>

In this connection, I shall try to make myself available to
discussions and meetings at the least. I am doing several things at a
time, and being in a confusion career-wise and life-wise, I am not
sure of my schedules or plans on any particular day. But, I should be
available on my mobile number +919989601232. I may also be involving
myself with "THE ROAD" and a couple of other organizations working
towards traffic issues in the city, but TMAD shall remain my priority
forever!
