Dear All, We already got a mail from pavan regarding priya and I spoke to her recently and here are the details.
Her father stood as guarantee for some one and the other person defaulted and now they dont have anything. So she couldnt pay her engineering fees too. Priya would have been 2007 Engineering passed out had she paid her college fees. As she could not pay third year and fourth year fees to the college, She could not get her final semester marks list till now. Also due to her position at home, she has three arrears now,which the college is not allowing her to sit for.Even during her final year, she was not allowed. She has already taken a loan of 1 lac from Indian bank to pay first two year fees. They said they can give a max of 1 lac only for she doesnt have surity. Now she has to pay another lac to the college to complete her degree and get the certificates. Right now she is working as a tele calling executive for some resorts in chennai.Its already 2 years and she had to complete her degree this year. Already her friends and classmates are raising some money for her. If we can chip in some amount it will be useful. She is very good at her communication skills and computing skills. She might get a job in IT as she has done her Engg in IT and at present she has 72%. Already the college has allowed her to appear for third and fourth year exams so we cannot ask them to wait for some more time or request them to allow her for these arrear exams. I think this december is the deadline for her. ArunK
