Dear friends,
Could you pls help me on the following matter?
we are looking for Research Associates and State supervisors for a
PME(Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation)project undertaken by Praxis.The
details are furnished as follows;
*Work profile:*
Monitoring and Evaluation of the Community Based Organisations working in
the area of HIV/AIDS.Total of 120 CBOs across six states come under the
project.*Andhra Pradesh,Karnataka,Tamilnadu,Maharashtra,Nagaland and Manipur
* are the states in which the project would be carried out.
The approximate numbers of people required are eight for Andhra Pradesh, TN
and Karnataka, six for Maharashtra, four each for Nagaland and Manipur.
For the post of RA ,the requirements are as follows:
1. Language skills- Local language, Hindi or English
2. Experience of data collection, through survey method.
3. Understanding of situation of sex workers and injected drug users.
4. Willingness to travel during mid January 2009 to end February 2009.
5. Statistical skill/ use of software for data collection.
Experience of community mobilization, is desirable.
We also need someone with more experience for the post of State supervisors-
one for each state. The person should have following competencies:-
1. Supervising skills
2. Overseeing reports and extracting relevant information.
3. Quality checking.
4. Experience on issues of HIV, sex workers, community mobilization.
5. Command over relevant state language –speaking as well as reading.
The remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
