Friends, Yesterday Mrs. Anuradha who supported us for two cases sent a mail to me about a girl from Vempalle who is suffering with eye sight problem. She said she is interested to contribute Rs. 5000 and she wants to know if we can take up this case or she has to directly contact Eenadu Helpline.
As it was related to eye, I have sent the mail to Dr. Rajesh of Narayana Nethralaya who is presently in London. He replied back with contact details of senior surgeons who can treat her free of cost but we need to pay for medication. Those doctors are placed in Bangalore. I spoke with Ramakrushna garu of Eenadu helpline and got the details of Vempalle Reporter Gopal. Spoke with Gopal as well. He said that the family is very poor and certainly deserve help. I told him to ask them if they are interested to go to Bangalore for treatment. Pavan took charge and assigned the responsibility of contacting the doctors and getting an appointment to Gangadhar. He also forwarded the details of the case to Sampath, his friend, who hails from Cuddapah. Ramakrushna garu also told me about Ms. Sudha from US who showed interest in this case. She discussed with Chiranjeevi Eye Bank and convinced them to give eyes to this girl. They agreed but mentioned that one has to bear the expenses of the surgery. RK garu gave my number to her and her email to me. I sent a mail to her introducing our TMAD and BosF. Will upload the screen shot of the news item to the Files section. This is only for your information. Our help is required in coordination but not in finance. Even though monetary help is required, it would be less only I suppose. Lets see. Will keep you all posted.
