Hi Prasanthi and team, First of all, thanks for the overwhelming response even at such a short notice :-)
I already told Swapna, that TMAD will not give any money in hand. One of our volunteers will come and buy the medicines for you and take the receipts with them. She said it is fine. I just had a talk with Swapna just few mins back. Here are the details: The operation is happening in Nilofeur hospital. So I think we can handover the case to Dr. Bala Sreenivas as I remember he worked in Nilofeur the last time I met him (i do not have any updates later on - after his marriage). Swapna said the boy is sent for the urine test at the time of my call. She said they will operate the boy tomorrow in the morning and that she will talk to the doctor once he is back in his chamber. I asked to ask the following questions to the doctor: 1. Will there be any medication going for forward? ?(like 3 month or 6 month or an year or lifelong medication?) 2. What could be the approximate amount that might be needed for medicines soon after the operation (so that we can raise the money accordingly)? As of then, I had only that questions in mind. If you have any questions, you can directly talk to her. That is an update from my side... :-) And once again, thanks for all the support... :-) Best Regards, Vani.
