I want to discuss something with you all; My boss, who happens to be having friends with American Telugu Association of USA (ATA) mentioned to me today that ATA is looking to associate with a non-profit for channeling their funds for relief activities and voluntary work. They are wary about which organization to choose because they are concerned the money may not reach the beneficiaries. They are currently going to organize a fund raising dinner for the flood relief, and they are looking to associate an organization with whom they can work on a long term, continuous basis. The inflow of funds is going to be comparatively large as you can imagine. They have currently identified one organization, but I can introduce TMAD if you people are okay with it. If we decide to go ahead, Prasanthi / Others will have to give a presentation and convince them about our values and modus operandi.
