Dear all, The FCRA status that would allow telugu Foundation US to directly send the money to hyderabad account is basically on hold. We need to provide commitment letters from the donor and from the founder of Telugu Foundation ( i.e. Prasad ) to Minitsry of Affairs as a proof that we are genuinely contributing to a cause through this foundation. Attached is the format of the letter. The letter needs to be addressed to The Secretary of the Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs, Jaisalmer House, 26, Mansingh Road New Delhi - 110011 ====================================== Just mention that iam sending $200(whatever the amount) per year towards children's education. Since we just collected funds for the flood relief, it would be great if each one of us could sign this document and scan the signed document and send it me. Once we have about 10 - 15 signed letters, we could then forward this to the Ministry of Affairs. Chandra will take it from here. I shall give each one of you a couple of days, after which point, i shall start calling you.
