Friends, This is a request from our own member group. Fayaz did participate in our activities when he was in Hyderabad and his team helped TMAD when we organized RTI Workshop in Nellore. Koti is part of Chennai BosF and they visited orphan homes and a slum together. Their group is very committed and is doing wonderful work in Nellore Dt. specially in and around Vidyanagar.

So here are the details of the needy. *Needy Details:* He is my friend, B.Tech classmate* Mr.Chalapathi.* He did* *his B.Tech at NBKRIST, Vidyanagar, Nellore Dt., AP during 2003-07.* *He is suffering from *EWINS SHARCOMA (BONE CANCER)* since 2002. He is survived by his mother who can’t be able to look back herself because of her old age. She is around 70+ now. He does have 3 elder brothers but no one is at his rescue. Currently he is working in a Cement factory at Tadipatri. His salary no more comes to his rescue as he has to spend more. He almost got exhausted his property for his treatment so far. *Treatment Details:* In 2002, he underwent a surgery on his left shoulder at Bangalore. After few years it again started troubling him. So from 2007 onwards he went around every hospital which he knew and consulted every doctor who referred him. So far there is little improvement. He underwent *21 Chemo therapies* till date. 6 chemos at Bangalore during surgery, 3 chemos at Kurnool during 2006-07 and 12 at *Indo American Cancer Hospital at Hyderabad *during 2008-09. Now he is undergoing* Sharvarise Chemotherapy* Treatment Under *Dr.Vijay Kumar (Senior Doctor & Specialist) at MNJ Institute Of Oncology & Regional Cancer Center, Red Hills, Hyderabad-04, Phone: 040-23397000.* He fells better with the treatment provided at this hospital. Dr.Vijay Kumar has suggested him to take 6 chemos. There should be 15 days gap between each chemo. After every 2 chemos blood test, X-ray, CT scan etc. tests will be conducted and the improvement will be studied for further treatment. Now each chemo costs him around* Rs 14,800/- *(Including Medicines, tests, food and travel) which takes 5 days to complete 1 chemo. So far 1 has been completed.
