This is actually a very risky task and I very much understand. I haven't
supported at first. I was very apprehensive. Bhargav assured me that he will
not go without police permission.

He gave me a call around 12 and mentioned that he got calls from some people
(after Sakshi article on BosF, he is still getting calls) that why don't we
help people who are fighting with hunger because of curfew. I didn't react
positively. I asked him that we will discuss and based on the response will
consider doing the next day. But he said it would be of no use and that I
should take a quick decision. I asked about the no. of families. We thought
for 100 families @50 rs. each and so the 5000 rs.

Then I gave a call to Satya to find out about money and then to Sivaji if he
can go. I made it a point not to go if we do not get permission. We wanted
to give to police for distribution if they do not allow us.

By god's grace we didnt have any bad experience but the positive result is
that we understood all are alike. The tensions and the situation are
man-made. Problem makers are few and they create havoc. It seems one lady
came to our volunteers and mentioned that they have enough money to buy and
she herself called all the slum people, disciplined them, made them stand on
line and helped our volunteers to distribute.

This morning I gave a call to Harinath garu about Sunday meeting and taking
children to Garrison. He told that when curfew was relaxed for half an hour,
one milk packet was sold for 100 rs. Can we imagine!! How come poor people
buy!! After listening to him, I felt like why we are not distributing all
through the curfew days. But then I cannot ask this question as I do not
have time to spare.

But I very much agree that this is a very risky task.
