Try to run the: apxs2 -q APU_INCLUDEDIR Seems that: apxs2 -q INCLUDEDIR is giving the /home/jfclere/usr/local/apache2/include and 'apxs2 -q APR_INCLUDEDIR' is giving the /home/jfclere/usr/local/apr/include/apr-1 The solution is to eiter copy APU_INCLUDEDIR to the INCLUDEDIR, or figure out why APU_INCLUDEDIR gives nothing or points to the wrong location.
