I used Lomboz to learn jsp and deployment but once you get passed the initial learning curve you outgrow the Lomboz plugin for eclipse. You definitiely get what you pay for.
Now I use the base Eclipse IDE and Ant.

Having suggested Netbeans and Eclipse as possible development environments,
I've been using Textpad and Ant for about six months since I failed to
migrate JBuilder 6 to a new system (the license info got screwed up
somehow). It works for me. The one thing I really miss is code
completion,
though...
