Unless I've missed a crucial commit-message, mod_jk2 is just as broken using the 'pre-fork' MPM as mod_jk (and they should work similarly with the 'worker' MPM). The difference is that mod_jk2 already has a built-in way do communicate the information to all of the Apache children (via the shm scoreboard).
