SSL error

I have installed SSL support for tomcat v 3.2.1. when I use Internet
Explorer and connect on port 8443 using HTTPS
I just see an empty list of client certificates to choose from and get a
2001-03-09 02:31:01 - Ctx(  ): 400 R( /) null
2001-03-09 02:31:01 - Ctx(  ): IOException in: R( /) Socket closed
from Tomcat

Can anybody help me .....
