My question is, does any know if there are any issues running Tomcat and Apache together on Windows Server 2003? The problem I'm having is with a migration project that I'm working on. I'm trying to reintegrate a software suite that originally ran on a combination of RedHat and Windows Server 2k, but with a recent upgrade now runs on Windows Server 2003. This has a combination of Jakarta-Tomcat (4.1.2) and Apache (1.3.27). The problem is this; the application seems to work fine overall, however, my efforts with Apache have been unsuccessful. In the original configuration Apache was used for authorization but it doesn't seem to work. I was given the following URL from the vendor for the configuration: http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2002/11/20/tomcat.html?page=1 and everything seems to have worked smoothly, with the exception of Apache. Any ideas? Does anyone know if there is a problem with running legacy versions of Tomcat and Apache on Server 2003? Thanks, Patrick A.
