I got it working. I had to use mod_jk instead of mod_jserv. I had a problem with apxs but this was explained in the mod_jk-howto.html file in the src distribution. It creates the scripts every time it starts, but than why you are bothered with it. You do not have to use these scripts. Copy whatever it creates to something else, edit it to your taste, and do not even look at the *auto stuff... I'm also interested in doing this for Windows, but Unix > comes > first for me.
