You mention everything but actually mapping the servlet, such that the container associates your servlet class with a URI. (hint: web.xml) What documents are you reading/following? Beware older docs that assume Tomcat has the "invoker" servlet enabled (it lets you call servlets without an explicit mapping); the invoker hasn't been enabled by default in quite some time. Finally, if you're working with servlets, do yourself a favor and grab a copy of the servlet spec. It's a free PDF download from java.sun.com. Familiarity with the spec is key for any servlet/J2EE developer. -QM -- software -- http://www.brandxdev.net/ tech news -- http://www.RoarNetworX.com/ code scan -- http://www.JxRef.org/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
