The connection string that I used is as follow:
Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver);
Connection connection = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:@myhost:1521:orcl");
where: myhost is the PC Name where the oracle database is resided
