the error I thought of would appear if both %_STARTJAVA% AND %TOMCAT_OPTS%
were empty.
One thing that came into my mind: Does the path you installed your JDK to
contain spaces? (i.e. c:/program files/javasoft...)
What does your JAVA_HOME say?
