Hi -
This was just posted earlier today: http://www.netbeans.org/ It looks very promising, but I haven't worked with it. We're using Borland's JBuilder...it seems to be the most neutral of the available options. MSFT's Java IDE isn't current anymore, as far as I know. http://www.borland.com/jbuilder/ I believe the personal edition is free, but it might not have all the features you are looking for. There's also things like MetroWerks CodeWarrior: http://www.metrowerks.com/desktop/java/ HTH John Turner [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.aas.com -----Original Message----- From: Cindy Ballreich [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, June 13, 2002 2:05 PM To: Tomcat Users List Subject: [offtopic] IDE for Tomcat? I was wondering what kind of IDEs people were using for Tomcat development? Any recomendations for someone who's been developing on linux from a NT desktop via ssh? (vi has it's charms, but there's got to be a better way!) Anything to avoid?
