Jeff, I don't see any real system issues, but then I'm not a Windows guru.
I do see some other issues, depending on what your intentions are. With IIS running, you have the option of using ASP as well as all the jsp/servlet/xml tools that Tomcat provides. Before people jump all over me, one of the reasons I use IIS on a Windows/2000 box is to help me port an ASP site to a jsp/servlet/xml site. I can also integrate Perl and PHP with this in case the site I'm working on has those aspects as well. So, if you're developing a new site and have complete control over the technologies used, Tomcat on port 80, or Apache/Tomcat might just be the ticket. If you are working with legacy systems (ASP, Coldfusion, Perl, PHP, etc.) then using IIS on a development machine is helpful while porting. For a production environment, my preference is still Apache/Tomcat or Tomcat. /mde/ just my two cents . . . . __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
