Hi, some time ago i had extreme problems with RedHat 7.2. Even if no big applications are running, the whole available memory size seems to decrease all the time.
Have you tried to verify the problem with the same Tomcat version and a different environment like Solaris or W2K or a different Linux distribution like Debian or SuSE?
