Thank you John you are right my localhost was wrong but now I have no errors inside my mod_jk.log but I still n have Internal Server Error for any jsp request without :8080 prefix.
in response to: > The simplest mod_jk configuration is to just stick Listener elements into > server.xml that call the ApacheConfig class. How can I make it? I have only JMX Listener. No entries for ApacheConfig class I found the Include /var/tomcat3/conf/jk/mod_jk.conf-auto directives in the doc "...This will tell Apache to use directives in the mod_jk.conf-auto file in the Apache configuration. This file is created by enabling the Apache auto-configuration as described in the Tomcat documentation." ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ where? How can I enable it and how it works? Anyway I prefer to tweak it by hand to understand the whole process. I plan in the future to enable more workers for different situations... Any advice is appreciated Eli On Sun, 10 Nov 2002 20:25:44 -0500 "Turner, John" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Judging from the logfile, your machine cannot resolve the name "localhost". > > Make sure there is an entry in your hosts file for localhost pointing to > 127.0.0.1. > > To answer your question, yes, an AddModule line typically says something > like "module-name.c".
