What else is in your classpath? You could be getting a clash with something, you shouldn't need to add $(CLASSPATH); at the end of your OPT as all the settings should be explicitly defined within the OPT.Hello Jason :
All settings are indeed inside OPT, but for some reason, the tomcat-jni.jar inside it was not being read. It could have something to do with my platform and the mod_jk2 package I am using, but I had to append CLASSPATH to it, just to get TomcatStarter found.
My system is different from yours : Red Hat 8.0 mod_jk2 rpm Apache2 rpm from Falsehope IBM Java 2 SDK 1.3.1
