Hi Tom, i have been using your boot disks everyday for the last 2 years (or so) and have been very happy with it. we have customized it quite a bit. thank you for a great piece of software. i agree completely with keeping it on one disk. now i am trying to make a bootable cd with a linux file system on it. putting the ext2 file system on the cd was no problem, but making it boot is not easy. according to the CD-Writing howto, one needs to put a 1.44mb bootable image in a iso9660 format on the the cd. i guess i could put a small iso9660 partition on the cd with the rest allocated to a ext2 file system. according to your mail archive, the kernel wants to boot from a floppy, so the kernel needs to be patched. (rd.c) ok, so far. i tried to download ElTorito.288.bz2 from your site and it is not there. is there a reason for this (does it not work?). any comments about what i am trying to do would be appreciated. thanks paul jensen [EMAIL PROTECTED]
