tomsrtbt supports PLIP, and I believe it is compatable with the crynwr
protocols, which may or may not be what MicroSoft uses in their "direct
cable connection" networking. You could boot the 'nt box' under tomsrtbt
also, but tomsrtbt does not support writing to ntfs. -Tom
