[tomsrtbt] keyboard locks

yes, I'm very new to all this. 
Still, an explanation, pionters or a little help would be very fine:

version: tomsrtb, v 2.05
computer: 
p6vap-a+ (board), ultra 160 scsi (scsi card 29160 from adaptec), 
p3-733 hz, 256 mb sdram dimm pc133, 9.1 gb quantum atlas v u2lvd 68p

Problem: My keybord locks after 3 or 4 minutes being idle (i.e. reading
man pages), so I need to reset (which I hate). What could I do ?
