Check the BIOS settings first. Many BIOSes have a password-protected
timeout where they lock the keyboard after 3 or 4 minutes of being idle
and you have to enter a password. It may be acting exactly the way it is
supposed to, you just need to enter the password. Then test the memory,
and hardware, see 'man memtest' under tomsrtbt. You may have a memory
problem. Then test it with a different keyboard. Maybe there really is
something wrong with the keyboard. -Tom
