Hi Tom!

Nope. I only use tomsrtbt, since I haven't any other linux dist lying
around. I unpacked it under itself. Ok, I describe exactly what I've
done:

booting from unaltered floppy (1.7.269) (I havn't build the 271 yet)

# mknod /dev/ram4 b 1 4
# mke2fs /dev/ram4 4096
# mount /dev/ram4 /mnt
# cd /mnt
# unpack.s /dev/fd0u1722

3444+0 records in
3444+0 records out
597+0 records in
597+0 records out
dd: standard output: Broken pipe
303+0 records in
302+0 records out
1250 Blocks
1808+0 records in
1808+0 records out
4520 Blocks
done

then I removed the *.unpacked dir and changed the unpack.s script
splitting the dd|dd pipe:

# unpack.s /dev/fd0u1722

3444+0 records in
3444+0 records out
597+0 records in
597+0 records out
1250 Blocks
1808+0 records in
1808+0 records out
4520 Blocks
done

well, I did not check wether the created *.unpacked dirs are identical.
(I'm rather new to linux, how could that be done?)
I just didn't trust the first one due to the error ;-)

hope that helps!

cheers,
Andi
