Use mknod to add the new devices, see 'man mknod' under tomsrtbt.

You can put the boot: parms in the lilo conf entries in buildit.s and
rerun buildit.s, or you could just make a lilo.conf from those entries and
rerun lilo.

Does this mean the promise cards that I though needed a patch and wouldn't
work under 2.0.x will work with just a boot: parameter?
