You cannot delete cpio (=tar =pax, hard linked). It is used during boot.

If you delete 2/usr/bin/ce AND 2/usr/bin/emacs, yes, that should free up
about 78K. But, first, get 1.7.361, it is best to start with the most
current version. Second, make sure you can do unpack.s/buildit.s
*without* changing anything. There should already be a fair amount free
as of 1.7.361...
