The ISA NE2000 driver is called 'ne', not whatever the PCI NE2000 driver is (which might be 'ne2000'). I don't know if it's on Tom's or not. To further confuse the issue, some PCI NE2Ks work with the ISA driver and not with the PCI driver. Really.
