I have got Tonto to work on my Mac OS 10.1.4 - I have managed to connect properly, and if I set all the debug settings to 3, rather than the initial 0, I have managed to load my CCF file from my Marantz RC5000i into Tonto.
However, when I trying saving the file back to my RC5000, I get an error message on the marantz, saying invalid configuration file, and my settings have been reverted back to the original that the Marantz shipped with. Could be a disaster unless I can find my CCF file on my PC, which works, incidentally without hitches.
