Stewart, It's with some chagrin that my privately reported success with my Marantz 5200 must be qualified. I've been about 1/2-done creating a new CCF for my remote. Using Touch Screen Setup & Virtual PC, I've been able to load it into the remote & into TSS to work on. On Monday, Tonto 1.099 was able to do the same thing. I was able to upload the CCF from the Marantz to Tonto, edit it, and successfully download it back to the Marantz. The remote seemed perfectly happy, and all my programmed functions seem to work just fine. Since that time, I've used Tonto quite a bit to edit the CCF, download it to the Marantz, etc. The remote has continued to function properly. However, in order to work around a couple of the problems I'm having with Tonto (unable to add delays to action lists, unable to manipulate graphics), I had to go back to TSS. The problem is that TSS does NOT open the CCFs I have edited with Tonto, nor does it successfully open the CCF from the remote itself that was saved to the remote from Tonto. TSS gives me the "Not a 5200 configuration" error when loading the CCF from either the remote or from the saved file. The CCF I have saved prior to editing with Tonto opens fine in TSS. I'm finding it odd that the remote itself seems forgiving with my CCF, but TSS is not. Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior? Any suggestions? Would any logs be helpful?
