I'm considering using Tonto in tandem with RXTX, as I've been told there is XModem functionality built into Tonto. However, the support the functionality obtained by my contact (must have been before the december, 2007 update) was successful, but erratic, capture of images via the serial port (from a magtek check reader using source forge's jmicr project).
So, I'd just like to hear how robust Tonto's XModem support is in its current state, and if it has changed since the december, 2007 update. Also, is it easy to strip these XModem classes out? I wonder it's robust enough and possible if this could be integrated with the RXTX project itself. Cheers!
