no one from the assembler maintainers lurking here? I thought as were developed by the compiler group as well (delivered as /opt/SUNWspro/bin/fbe and later also as /usr/ccs/bin/as)? http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/tools-compilers/2008-November/000436.html Recently, a couple of other assembler problems came up during gcc testing in various combinations with Sun as/GNU as/Sun ld/GNU ld and I'd like to either get them fixed or implement workarounds.
