Please keep in mind what Rachna said earlier: bugster was not designed with opensolaris in mind - opesolaris didn't exist yet! The BT2 team also services *ALL* of Sun, and is not even just for Solaris. They are, I believe, part of the Sun IT organization. They have been contacted by Solaris CTOs that were supposed to be working this problem internally (why, I don't know, but I know this was indeed the case). The BT2 team was asked to work through specific people. >> The BugTraq team responded to the OpenCommunity's initial request with 2 >> options: > > If you didn't respond on the forum publicly - then you didn't respond, > unfortunately. Again, I believe this was part of the CTO discussion. Why they (the CTOs) decided to hold these conversations privately - I don't know. Keep in mind that the BT2 team can't even come up with an estimate for work until they know the requirements. I know they sent mail directly to sch for requirements gathering - I'm not sure why the entire alias wasn't copied, but he's stated here already that he was rolling their feedback into his next draft.
