Hi Gang -

I have a few bugzilla administration questions - I'm used to working
in the context of bugster, so please forgive if some of these are a
bit naive.

Is there a way to turn on auditing for administrative changes?
That is, see who added which products or components, or disabled
a user, etc.

Can administrative ownership/rules be set for a classification? I
can only see things like an administrator per repo or per product.
I'm just wondering if we could set up a classification, say "solaris",
that contained products like "kernel, utility, library, etc" and
have the same administrative privs added to that entire classification
(vs needing to maintain those rules per product).

Is there a programmatic interfaces for accessing the bugzilla
database? If yes, what's the language in and where can we find
information on the API?

Does bugzilla have the concept of a responsible manager. In bugster,
we have an RM that is responsible for all the bugs in a specific
sub category (roughly equiv to component in bugzilla). This is unique
from the engineer that owns the specific bug.

As you can probably guess, we're working on a mapping into bugzilla
of what we are tracking in bugster, and trying to figure out how
easy (or hard) this will be.

thank you!

Valerie
