Have been able to try to boot the DVD. However, it skips immediately to stage 2, and then, after some minutes, prompts me for a user name and password. Since the software's never been installed before, I was wondering:
1) If this is an error and Stage 1 didn't execute for some strange reason... 2) If it is not an error, does anyone know just WHAT the username/password combition might be? This is the disk that I ordered on-line from opensolaris.org, not one I downloaded myself. Suggestions, anyone? Ed Otto edward.o...@comcast.net
