so the entire labs-cluster use the same database-servers? Do you know that we have users that run queries that took hours/days to complete (because there are complex, for academic research or just because there is bug in the query)? And while I read about user-databases in another mail: While the toolserver has a dedicated sql-server for that (which REALLY needs replacement/extension), many user-databases are on the replicated-db-servers (users LOVES joins); some are hundreds of MB big (you can imagine how many rows they have).
