Steve and Topbanders, JD1BME is a legitimate call, which I know definitely operated from Ogasawara (OC-073) and QSLed. I'm 99.9% sure the 2007 activity, supposedly from Minami Torishima, was bogus. I worked JD1BME on 80 in January and sent a direct QSL to the JA QSL bureau and have never received a QSL or notification back.
