Hi, Here's a few things that I think would make Ensemble easier to use:
1. When the results grid contains more than one column of class instances, it would be nice to be able to drag the instance from any column onto the Visualization tab for further exploration. Currently I can only drag the instance contained in Column 0. 2. When selecting properties from the incoming/outgoing dropdowns it would be helpful if multi-selection were enabled via the CTRL and SHIFT keys. Sometimes you want to see lots of stuff all at once. 3. As soon as the mouse is moved beyond any edge of the results grid while dragging an instance, the results grid begins to scroll in that direction until I drop the instance on another tab. Unless you can drop the instance inside the results grid, auto-scrolling does not add any value and is a bit frustrating since you have to drop your instance quickly lest you lose your place in the grid. 4. Multiple selection would be nice in the grid -it's currently very tedious if you are using the grid to edit. 5. How do I save the results of a query to my local drive as a CSV, etc? 6. I really need to be able to name the columns in the grid! Consider a query using the Kennedys ontology: Person3->(parent)->Person2. The result columns are named Person2 and Person3. Which is the parent without studying the query? Easy to figure out when it is a simple query but hard otherwise. 7. We have Count but Sum has disappeared from possible aggregation functions (unless it is context sensitive in that it is only an option with a numeric property value, I haven't tried that one yet.) Given the flexibility of the event driven toolkit behind the new Ensemble, I may be complaining a bit early so if there are easy ways to do what I've mentioned please let me know!
