Scott and Arthur,

I tested things out and realized this problem does not exist in Composer 3.0.1,
but happens when we use Composer 2.6.2 (which we are still using but we will
soon upgrade to 3.0.1 after we finish our current project release).

Thanks for your help.

Naicong; I cannot reproduce this. Here's what I am doing:

  - Create a form layout for Thing_1

  - Create a couple of instances of Thing_1

  - Modify the form layout for Thing_1

When I view one of the instances, it is shown in the modified layout.

I.e. the results are immediate and no refresh is needed.

What would I need to do differently to reproduce what yo ar seeing.
