Most likely it depends on the model being used.  Just to have a common
starting point, try running inferences on one of the library examples
(Navigator > TopBraid > Examples) such as kennedys or geotravel.  I
just tried running inferences with Pellet configured and it works as
expected.

If there is a different model that Composer/Pellet is failing on, let
us know.
