Hi Scott,
Thanks for pointing that out.  I am not, however, attempting to use SERVICE
to access AG for the sake of it being the mechanism to fetch data from AG,
but for the sake of testing out SERVICE and remote queries.  I have also
been using SERVICE on dbpedia, see the other thread about bug in querying
SPARQL end points.

But for this current issue: hopefully someone from your team will file a bug
about the NPE when no model is loaded.
